10 Fun Facts About Wellington

 Wellington, is the capital of New Zealand it's a small island devided into two parts. The population of people in Wellington is around 212,700 ( around 2017) also being the 2nd windest city in the world so you could imagine it being really cold there. Te-Whanganui-a-Tara is the moari name for Wellington it also gets its name from a man called Arthur Wellesley, the first duke of Wellington. One of the famous people living in Wellington is a New Zealand Director, Producor Sir Peter Jackson creator of The Hobbit, Lord of the ring, and King Kong, some of the best movies ever made ( l myself am very inspired by him).

 Always take pride in what you do always be resilient never give up on task and always stay positive. Make connections with others and open up to people if you ask for help it will help you for things in the future making those connections can also be good for your mental health. Morning routines are also good for your Health, Move towards your goal don't walk backwards you can be whatever you want don't care about others opinions they will only bring you down..

What We Did:  We researched how a compass works and what directions  We created a slide presentation of the basics on a compass We made shapes look the same and opposite using mirror
What I Learned:   I learned some extensions on the directions of a compass  I learnt what things you could do with reflections  I also learnt how to do multiplication :D
My Favourite Parts:  Researching about a compass and finding out some facts Learning multiplication
My Next Steps: To do better in maths  Making sure l do my work  Use a compass sometimes and learn more directions

My Next Steps:  This task was easy and enjoyable  There was a lot of research involved  I could do better by getting the task done faster

About Ahmed Iqbal Jahangir

Ahmed iqbal Jahangir is a proud to be called a New Zealand Hero. Jahangir was caught up in a mosque attack on the 15th of March 2021 while peacefully doing they’re prays the outside front wasn’t. Suddenly a man started yelling that there is someone with a gun that is shooting everywhere. Everyone was panicking running around trying to find somewhere to hide. All the women were in a corner waiting for the shooter to go away Jahangir saw the women and ran to them to make sure they were all okay he looked around and got up and looked outside as soon as he took his first look out of the mosque there in front of him was the shooter he shot Jahangir in the right arm he dropped to the ground then went unconscious he still has trouble with using his right hand till this day
